A rather unusual and intriguing example of this very popular inclusion gem of the last several years. Most often cut as cabs to feature the gemmy needles of blue Dumortierite, this is one of the few faceted examples that we have seen successfully done. One of the large pavilion facets has been left essentially with the rough crystal face (only the very thinnest of a polish) to keep the thin layer of Dumortierite intact. Moreover, there are several very fine freely floating terminated crystals throughout the center of the gem. Great size and a lovely presentation of this now well known material.
