Along with traditional faceted gems, the Malagasy deposit of Pezzottaite produced some chatoyant material as well. We see these only rarely in the market now and actually find the faceted gems a bit easier to locate now. A nice moderate eye and pleasing shape along with the classic color of the material - a lovely stone and a fine example.
