Truly gem grade, fully transparent Legrandite is almost impossibly rare. Once in a great while we will see a tiny gem cut from some fragment of a crystal but these are generally in the 0.05-0.10 ct. range. As a stone of over 1/2 carat, this one is exceptional; well cut, completely clean and with a fantastic color. Indeed, one of the most vibrant and intense hues in the gem world. Simply a magnificent rarity!
