Almost certainly of the Orthoclase variety, this is a substantial faceted gem for an Idaho Feldspar. The state is rather unsung for its gem deposits, but quite a few species can be found there. This is an old collection piece cut decades ago - unfortunately there was not a more specific locality. Still, a scarce and lovely example of a larger, flawless US gem.
