A lovely example of this unusual greyish-blue variety of Apatite found only in Burma. The color is an attractive ‘steely’ hue and has the advantage of being completely natural - it is not heated like the bright blue Apatites from Madagascar. The cutting is excellent, the gem is clean and the size is extremely respectable for these. A very distinctive variety that we almost never seem to be offered anymore. Rare.
