A stunning and essentially perfect gem that illustrates just how nice faceted gems from this locality can be. The color is a spot on match for Colorado material - unfortunately this mine is also no longer producing material. Top clarity - always a tough requirement in Rhodochrosite - really sets apart the fine cutting and superb brilliance. And that wonderful color, a finer example would be difficult. Quite rare this nice.

A gorgeous and completely clean matched pair of intensely colored Rhodochrosite. Not common as pairs, these can be used very sparingly in jewelry if set by an experienced jeweler. One of the great colors of the gem world and rather difficult to match up this well. Beautiful set of stones.
