A fiery gem that is most likely a mix between the Pyrope and Spessartine members of the Garnet family. These can be advanced separations and it isn’t always completely possible without having a lab take a look. What were were particularly drawn to here is the color - a deep red with a very noticeable tinge of orange. The color that results from this is both rich and bold; that touch of orange adding a bit more life than simply a red of comparable tone would have. Lovely cutting that is perfectly done and completely clean. Great size and competitive cost for a center stone gem.
