Quartz with these deep red-orange platelets of Lepidocrocite is not a particularly rare gem material - the distinction here is the extremely high quality of the the rough and the excellent cutting. Aside from the Lepidocrocite, the stone has no other inclusions, no veils or no fractures. And then there is the absolute top cutting job - great custom shape and design with an attention to detail that shows you how the platelets were trapped just below the table. Great looking stone and so far above what is normally seen.
