An exceptional and indeed magnificent stone from a now long gone locality for Calcite - Rosarito, Mexico. Orange is not a common color for gemmy Calcite from any deposit and we only have had a few, but never one as large as the present example. Gorgeous precision cutting and entirely clean, the gem is beyond brilliant and bright. Furthermore, it is quite fluorescent as these tend to be. A truly fine and gorgeous stone that will delight - a very large example for the cost.
