A very substantial and fine gem Spessartite from Mozambique. The color is a fine medium dark orange with just enough of a brownish-red highlight to make the orange really pop - much different than the well known 'mandarin' colors and very impressive. Reminds us of the classic stones the market was quite accustomed to decades ago. Entirely clean and with a very fine cut, this stone has undeniable presence and looks simply fantastic in-hand.
