An impressive light blue Sapphire crystal from Sri Lanka. The crystal is exceptionally well formed and sharp - very rare among the alluvial finds in Sri Lanka. These are capable of a very fine luster, as is the case here and the overall shape is just so attractive - the ends are so flat that the crystal will stand up of its own accord. A fine specimen that would be a great collection piece or is absolutely usable in jewelry.
