A new find - while these are cut as traditional faceted stones, they in fact have a distinct chatoyancy that would, had this been cabbed, been a cat’s eye. The resulting look is great - the stone has bands of sheen that run across the table when in motion. A billowy effect not unlike some Moonstone. Along with the bright bodycolor this makes for a visually interesting and unusual gem.
