It has been a number of years now since this interesting material hit the market. The vibrant blue sprays of Dumortierite look great and create an entire world inside of purely colorless Quartz. The Dumortierite is nearly always very close to the crystal surface, so these must be carefully polished to keep them intact. Finally we have been able to source some very high quality material - those stones that have a full spray of complete Dumortierite crystals, in their lovely deep violet blue color. Certainly worth the wait, this is a fine example with lovely aesthetics and fine size to appreciate the crystals. Superb three-dimensionality and very scarce this nice.
