Now, in the world of obscure gems this must be deserving of some bonus points. We have had plenty of Enstatite, but the rare ones are the colorless gems from one area in Sri Lanka. We have also had Enstatite cat’s eyes, but now we have something a bit more - a large, colorless Enstatite with a very good chatoyancy. A somewhat broad but respectable eye rolls nicely across a colorless/silver body in this collector’s piece. Great to see one this size as well as it allows the chatoyancy to reach its potential. Not expensive and certainly an oddball.
