All things considered, truly one of the best examples of a fine gem from this interesting US deposit. Stones from Georgia are known for their ability to have a sort of bluish modifier, a really attractive and fine quality when present. This one has it at just the right intensity - it also has a consistent and deep color. This is the usually the limiting factor here - crystals are strongly zoned and often cannot be orientated correctly to cut the very best color. Perfect size, and a very deep and saturated color for a small-ish stone, we usually only get this tone in large gems. Simply magnificent, we wish that even 5% were this nice!
