A huge stone from this well-known locality in Georgia. Specimens are a priority here so cutting rough is always a secondary concern; that coupled with the typically strong zoning and concentration of the best color just at the point of the crystals makes larger fine stones quite scarce. This one is a stunner; nice saturated with the absolute top color for the material; the classic ‘blue flash’ that have set these stones apart - it is an intriguing pop of color that is not often present in stones from other locales. A spectacular museum grade size for Jackson’s Crossroads stones - the color zoning of the material often precludes stones of this size. Precision US cutting completes this fine American specimen. Simply superb.
