Quite large and fine for a Sri Lankan Iolite, special consideration should be given to the excellent cut as well as the fine, slightly lighter tone. Largely underappreciated, the color of these can be so fine - particularly when oriented correctly to hide the pleochroism as is the case here. Beautiful example in a not often seen size and shape.
