Measurements: 12.4 x 6.4 mm
A fascinating fan-like aggregate, this unusual Burmese find has recently been identified as the mineral Avdeevite. Closely related to both Morganite and Pezzottaite, a very similar example was just profiled in a recent article in the Journal of Gemmology (Vol. 39, No. 7). Precious few of these so far, however we thought them interesting enough to offer as a specimen before attempting to perhaps cut a cabochon. Lovely soft pink color.
