On first glance you may think this stone one that only a gemologist could love. You may first spot the unusual color - green Sapphire is fairly uncommon in lighter tones and is rarely done as a cab. Then the inclusions may start to interest you a bit - lovely included crystals and some rutile. Finally, a broader appeal will come when you see that the stone does in fact have a wonderfully distinct and sharp asterism. Green Star Sapphires are quite out of the ordinary. Very transparent for a stone with this strong a star and simply unique!
