A very rare manganese phosphate mineral, Eosphorite is a classic ‘type III’ gem material - that is, it is almost always encountered with heavy inclusions. It is indeed problematic and we have never once see a clean stone, so we simply look for those gems that stand out on the rare occasion we see any of the species offered. Here we have an almost unbelievably great one - the very best stone of this species we have ever offered. Inclusion-wise, it certainly is among the cleanest we have ever seen - beyond that it has that gemmy quality that we almost never see. Then you have have a custom precision cut, which is almost unheard of - on a stone of a fine size no less. Lastly, we can confidently say that we have never seen such a pink-dominant Eosphorite, they are typically much more orange with generally brings in a brown modifier as well. Not at all the case here, the color is Varyrynenite-like. Magnificent in all regards!
