Remarkably obscure, Ricolite is an intergrowth of Serpentine with thin layers of Talc - a combination that occurs as polishable nodules in the Ash Creek of New Mexico. This lovely, large cab has gradients of green throughout it as the Talc forms in layers between the Serpentine. We can’t recall ever having seen this particular material before, so this one definitely caught our eye. Fun and quite rare.
