A highly unusual example of Munsteiner Quartz with Tourmaline. When we see these, they are generally limited to the very thin, black needles of Tourmaline that are much more familiar. In contrast, here we have an immense, single crystal of transparent, deep green Tourmaline. The design frames the crystal while the outline of the gem echoes the point at which the Tourmaline breaks the surface across the table. Truly masterful - the crystal also continues ‘out’ the back of the piece. Fantastic.
A great looking stone and one that comes with a full, signed certificate from Atelier Munsteiner. As we often say, these stones represent a great opportunity for collectors and those looking for investment pieces - unmounted Munsteiner stones are not readily available in the market and, once set, these take a significant jump in price.
