A famed American stone, these chrome Pyropes are the so-called Arizona 'anthill' garnets. A lively and intense red bodycolor that is essentially unmatched by Pyrope garnet from other localities. While the color is so spectacular, it is not particularly suited to larger stones as they easily darken up; the perfect fit is to use these are either as accent pairs or beautiful 1 carat gems. Nearly eye clean, there will be some rutile needles and the classic Apatite crystals visible under magnification.
