A very fine and gemmy example of a great inclusion combination - fine, deep red crystals of Piemontite suspended in Quartz. A purplish-red, manganese-rich variety of Epidote, Piemontite is sometimes available as cabs, but the look of having it scattered throughout a faceted Quartz is quite appealing. Not a material we have seen often, these are from Madagascar. Great size and an unusual combination.
