Even just a few years ago, it would be almost inconceivable to ever think we would be able to offer such a stone. This species was so incredibly rare and sought after that this material would have surely been faceted and sold at a premium. Now, we have the ability to offer this rarity as fine cabs - nice consistent color and a large size. Grandidierite is quite durable as well.
