While we have occasionally offered faceted Amber from various locales, we rarely have the chance to handle an example with an insect inclusion. They are inordinately popular and we are continuly trying to source this fascinating rarities. A magnificent stone, this one is doubly special indeed - there are two well framed winged insects under the table of the gem. This is one of the most aesthetic examples we have had and quite rare with the double insects. Locked together like this it is easy to get poetic - were they lovers? Were they in battle? Either way, a stone with great color, a pristine insect and a fine longwave fluorescence as well.
