A color variety that rates extremely high in the ‘we would not expect that’ category. Though not a new find, these are exceptionally rare indeed and are documented only from Ontario. The color is startlingly good (it is believed to be do to copper impurities on a molecular level) and the clarity is really exceptional for this material. Great cutting, just a wonder of a gem in an absurd color. A great rarity.
