No doubt, one of the most obscure and difficult to source gem materials in the world.  Essentially the top prize for a collector of gems from the United Stated, the only known occurrence for gem Zektzerite lies at a rugged elevation in Washington.  Crystals are exceptionally rare, even here at their type locality, so there have never been more than a few faceted examples of this material in the decades since its discovery.

This gorgeous gem is very near the top quality among the few faceted examples of this species. The cutting is very nicely done and the color is attractive, important as some of these are very light. Sourcing a gem Zektzerite of this size with this level of brilliance is beyond difficult, they are simply not available. To mention again, the color is very fine as well. Great for the species collector - to quote Sinkankas (Gemstones of North America), it is surely "among the rarest of all gems". With full GIA Identification report.
