Much like orange Kyanite or purple Diaspore, the discovery of bright green Hauyne has been a pleasant and exciting surprise to the rare stone world. Though an entirely different color, the gems often possess the very high level of color saturation we are familiar with, so the greens can be fantastic. There is a fair bit of low-grade material in the market and you must be weary of clarity treatments as the rough is often quite fractured. So, we are pleased to present a top color, untreated gem in a respectable size and lovely cut. A few thin veils, but nothing at all distracting or detrimental to the brilliance. As you might suspect, prices have quite a range at the moment, the only certainty being that very high grade stones will be few and rare between.
