These are such precious and fascinating pieces. A complex and elegant form, the macle is a twinned Diamond crystal. While the overall shape is very attractive, the adamantine luster of Diamond imparts a special reflectivity and glow to these. What is more, as if intended as a reward for close study, you get the wonderful little triangular surface features (known as trigons) dotting the surface. What a lovely combination.
