3.29 ct. Pakistani 'Mint' Peridot

The most singular and attractive color we have ever encountered in Peridot.  Not only is the tone unusually light, but the hue itself is a stunning, crisp apple-green that is exceptional.  Take a look at the photo below - one the right is this stone, on the left is a 'mint' grossular garnet!  Very few Peridot indeed could stand up to this material.

This stone is the largest that came out of a very small parcel that appeared on the Bangkok market awhile back.  We have not seen any more of this material and what we didn't get was immediately snapped up by others.  Fine cutting and eye clean (there are a few wispy fibers under 10x), this is a really spectacular stone.
