Perhaps one of the finest Benitoites we have ever been able to offer. Stunning in all regards, this stone has a superb custom cut with great proportions and a great polish and is completely loupe clean. And the color, wow, this one is just absolutely top color for the species - a rich, medium dark slightly violetish-blue. These have become so restricted in sizes over one carat that stones are either absent from the market entirely, or have taken a dramatic price hike. Simply great - no color zoning, nothing, just consistent wonderful Benitoite-ness!
