1.68 ct. Benitoite Pendant

We very occasionally run across that particular piece of finished jewelry that proves too difficult to pass up.  This one certainly qualifies - a stunning, large gem Benitoite set in 14K white gold.  The stone is absolutely superb, completely flawless and an exquisite saturated color that is top for this popular gem material.  The setting is extremely well done and weighty (see the photo below) and features four single one point round brilliant diamonds as accents.

While it was the stone that first attracted us to this piece, we are well aware that many of our customers ultimately choose to have their purchases set into jewelry.  The idea that we could bypass this sometimes strenuous and expensive process and provide a gem rarity 'ready to go' as it were was also alluring.  The setting is nicely understated and allows the stone to be the star, which of course it is.  Benitoites of this size have all but disappeared from the market and almost certainly as close to a sure bet as investment pieces as is possible.
