2.33 ct. Nepalese Kyanite

These Nepalese Kyanites have set the standard for rich saturated blues, a gorgeous color that was previously unknown in this gem.  This lovely stone is one of the finest examples we have had - there is no color zoning, the cutting is fresh and crisp and the stone is completely clean.  All three of these points are potential problem areas for gems from this deposit - issues that are happily avoided with this gem.  All told, a superb stone from this find and simply a stunning color.
