9.19 ct. Quartz with Iron Oxide

A visually startling Quartz inclusion piece from a new find in Brazil.  The vivid yellow to red inclusions are actually very thin layers of iron oxide staining - on a starkly colorless Quartz background they certainly stand out!  Nicely cut and a good size, this is a very artistic looking piece - for the post-modern gemologist perhaps!
