4.25 ct. Powellite Cabochon

Small gems have been cut from Indian Powellite for several years now, this is one of the few cabs we have encountered.  Particularly nice is the color, a pleasant yellow.  The stone has a very high luster (Powellite is listed as adamantine) and is actually quite gemmy in areas - this is not low grade material.  In fact, the polish is finer than on many of these that have been faceted.  The last of these that we have.
