11.19 ct. Fire Opal in Matrix Cabochon

A very artistic example of this material.  A single vein of orange Fire Opal in the Rhyolite matrix.  What is particularly interesting about this example is that around the margin of the orange material is a border of very gemmy opal that is full of fire.  A great looking and rare combination - we have never seen this effect in any of this Mexican material before.  An unique find.
