0.57 ct. Mimetite

Fine faceted Mimetite is quite uncommon, the crystals rarely being large and gemmy enough to cut.  Add to that a great color, an intense yellowish-orange that is very distinct, and you have a superb collection piece here.  Very nicely cut and with very respectable clarity.  We saw just a few stones cut from a single specimen and selected only this one.  Lovely gem and rare.
