9.24 ct. Arizona Fire Agate

Color:  Brown/Play-of-Color Clarity:  Opaque
Origin:  Slaughter Mountain, San Carlos Reservation, Arizona Cut:  Freeform Cabochon
Treatments:  None Measurements:  27.8 x 11mm

From one of the premier deposits of this gem Fire Agate, comes this gorgeous example of a US gemstone.  A full range of colors are present and, critically, cover the gem completely.  There are no 'dead' areas at all - the stone simply comes alive when rotated.  Polishing these to best follow the contours of the fire takes the skilled hand of someone used to working with Fire Agate; this one was done by a pro.  These never photograph as well as they appear in person, so it is unlikely that this one will disappoint.  Great shape for a pendant!
